My recent work focuses on designing for the outdoors, a context that provides rigid parameters and suggests both technicality and ruggedness in each project. Ranging from portable mats to bicycle frames to frame bags, my goal is to merge childlike joy with outdoor activity, resulting in objects that feature organic forms and vibrant colors. By considering and collaborating with the intended users of these objects, I create a space between myself and the design—one that allows me to work confidently, free from doubt.
